Our Story

It was early December in Buffalo, NY when a  group of friends were enjoying a pre-holiday night out.  By the time we were enjoying our night cap at a lively bar, the conversation turned to “Belt Swag”, the condition in which the floppy end of your belt hangs down or sticks out awkwardly.  Our snappiest dresser complained he and his sister have suffered from the condition for years.  Both tried various solutions like using paperclips and even nails! That night he was wearing a handmade clip his sister had constructed to finish off his outfit.  While it wasn't horrible, we knew we could do better.  Between us we had business leaders, a master jeweler and most importantly lots of flair for design.

With this serendipitous talent, we began designing a prototype almost immediately.  We knew we had to eliminate belt swag but we wanted to use our talents to make the accessory elegant belt jewelry that would enhance any belt.  Our master jeweler hand sketched designs, we began our search for US manufacturers and began sourcing gemstones.
